Alera Group is looking for a Commercial Lines Senior Account Executive. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you! The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the Private Equity space, and managing large commercial accounts. This role is based in the Philadelphia area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Market, develop, service, and retain assigned accounts while identifying and pursuing cross-sell opportunities.

  • Conduct risk analysis, gather renewal info, review markets, negotiate with underwriters, and prepare/present proposals.

  • Meet with clients regularly to provide service, conduct renewals, and make informed coverage recommendations.

  • Negotiate with insurers to secure optimal coverage, service, and premium for clients.

  • Address client risk and capital management needs by identifying tailored insurance solutions.

  • Collaborate with Account Managers and maintain accurate client files and system records.

  • Build strong, credible relationships with clients and carriers; stay current through ongoing education.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 Years Prior Professional Experience as an Account Manager or Account Executive
  • Experience managing large commercial accounts, over 500k in premium
  • Property & Casualty license Required
  • Experience in a team leadership role
  • Exceptional people skills and the ability to lead
  • High level of professionalism with a positive attitude
  • Detail oriented & self-motivated
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.

Salary range is 150k-250k per year DOE.
