Role Overview

The Senior Accountant is responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and preparing financial reports. They will assist in the budgeting process, payroll, and other accounting functions. This role is part of the accounting team and will work independently and lead a team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining current and accurate general ledger financial data and upholding internal control policies.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include processing financial transactions, maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting in the budgeting process. They will also be responsible for payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, as well as reconciling bank accounts and corporate credit cards.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Accounting or equivalent
  • 5+ years related experience
  • CPA license preferred

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
