Role OverviewThe Senior Accountant I role supports the accounting operations of the company by ensuring the general ledger and respective sub-ledgers are up to date with the most accurate information. This position will be part of the team that prepares financial reports for internal and external use, consistent with a comprehensive understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the company’s policies and procedures.
What You Will Do
Create and post monthly journal entries within Dynamics GP (Great Plains), analyze information and maintain general ledger balances/activity, monitor and reconcile intercompany accounts, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and support financial consolidation and close.

- Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel
- High attention to detail
- Highly organized, with ability to multi-task and manage the team's completion of responsibilities by applicable deadlines
- Must be flexible with high reliability and able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and on a team within a fast-paced environment
- 4-year degree in accounting or related field (required)
- Master’s degree in accounting or business administration (preferred)
- CPA (preferred)
