Role Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in both tax compliance and financial reporting engagements, including the preparation and review of financial statements under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Financial Reporting Framework for Small- and Medium-Sized Entities (FRF for SMEs).

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include building new and existing client relationships, preparing and reviewing federal and state income tax returns, preparing research memoranda, and providing guidance and mentorship to staff accountants.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of recent public accounting experience, experience preparing and reviewing financial statements under GAAP and/or FRF for SMEs standards, and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, with CPA Certification preferred or eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • CPA Certification preferred or eligible
  • 5+ years of recent public accounting experience
  • Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements under GAAP and/or FRF for SMEs standards
