Role OverviewThe Senior Accountant will own the month-end close process, prepare journal entries, and analyze monthly account reconciliations. This role will work closely with the Controller to strengthen processes, internal controls, and documentation, and will partner with FP&A on cost analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities include owning the month-end close process, preparing and posting journal entries, preparing and analyzing monthly account reconciliations, managing intercompany transactions, and reviewing the general ledger for accurate coding.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a media company
- CPA certification or equivalent
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
