Role OverviewThe Senior Accountant owns full-cycle accounting for the company’s Selling, General & Administrative (SG&A) functions and holds overall balance sheet and P&L responsibility for the Canadian business. This is a hands-on role that pairs technical accounting ownership with active business partnering and team leadership.
What You Will Do
Own full-cycle accounting for the SG&A functions, perform monthly variance analysis, prepare management reporting, and partner directly with SG&A department owners to develop budgets and review spending.

Requirements
- BS in Accounting required
- CPA preferred
- Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior experience supervising, mentoring, or leading staff strongly preferred
- Strong experience with financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and month-end close processes
- Manufacturing background with standard costing experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with IFRS, intercompany, and foreign exchange transactions preferred
- Experience with lease accounting software (e.g., Innervision) preferred
- Experience administering or using a travel and expense platform (e.g., Navan) a plus
- Advanced Excel knowledge and highly experienced user
- Experience with ERP and financial systems such as JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Financial Management, and TM1 strongly preferred
