Role OverviewAs the Senior Engineering and Security Solutions (ESS) Business Unit Accountant, your work includes assisting and supporting the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, reconciling corporate level tax activity, and managing the Corporate Registry Inbox. This position requires you to work independently and participate in ongoing audits, self-audits, and financial analytics and reporting.
What You Will Do
Assist with month-end, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, review financial statements for completeness and accuracy, collect data and compile accounting reports, and assist with financial analysis and planning processes.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires demonstrated proficiency in A/P, A/R, GL Reconciliation, Financial Reporting, and the evaluation of financial information to support operational decision-making. A CPA certification is preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in A/P, A/R, GL Reconciliation, Financial Reporting
- Demonstrated proficiency in evaluation of financial information to support operational decision-making
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying GAAP and applicable regulations
- CPA certification preferred
