Job Description
The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Accounting team responsible for all accounting and reporting for Axis Americas. The role requires a solid understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal control frameworks. The successful candidate will also possess an understanding of critical interdependencies across business functions and have a continuous improvement mindset.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years Accounting and Business Analysis experience
  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience working in a SOX environment
  • Lease Accounting experience preferred but not required
  • Proficient/Advanced in Excel
  • Ability to understand/navigate ERPs and other software with limited instruction
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
