Role OverviewAs a Senior Accountant, you'll play an important role in financial reporting, insurance accounting, and regulatory compliance. You'll collaborate with teams across Olympus, support financial close activities, and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
What You Will Do
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, account for premium activity, commissions, receivables, and investment transactions, and prepare financial analyses, reconciliations, and variance explanations for management reporting.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance accounting or public accounting serving insurance clients
- Experience with reinsurance accounting, particularly catastrophe programs
- Knowledge of NAIC statutory accounting principles (SAP/SSAPs) and U.S. GAAP
- Experience preparing NAIC Annual Statement schedules and regulatory financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with general ledger and insurance-related systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively
- CPA designation or actively pursuing certification preferred
- Experience with MAR/SOX compliance, Florida insurance regulatory reporting, or AI-driven accounting improvements is a plus
