Senior Accounting Analyst, Consolidated Reporting

As part of the Chief Accounting Office, the Consolidations Reporting team plays a critical role in overseeing Bloomberg's global close and reporting processes while maintaining the integrity of the Company's consolidated financial results. This role is responsible for supporting Bloomberg's monthly consolidated close process, preparing the consolidated close package for the Chief Accounting Officer, and performing analytical review of Bloomberg's financial results.

What You Will Do

Prepare and maintain Bloomberg's monthly consolidated close package for senior accounting and finance leadership, perform analytical reviews of consolidated balance sheet and income statement results, identify trends, fluctuations, and areas requiring further investigation, and support the monthly consolidated close process.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, or external reporting
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement presentation
• Experience supporting month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Demonstrated ability to perform analytical review of financial results and investigate significant variances
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and levels of management
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
