Role OverviewThe Senior Accounting and Finance Analyst serves as a key contributor across EEI’s Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis functions, offering a unique opportunity to develop broad technical expertise in a mid-sized organization. This role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of expense-related accounting entries while also supporting the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting cycles, and ongoing variance analysis.
What You Will Do
Prepare and post monthly journal entries, perform monthly account reconciliations, and prepare supporting schedules for external auditors and internal stakeholders. Support the annual budgeting process, prepare quarterly forecasts, and prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis reports.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis
- Working knowledge of GAAP, with specific exposure to accrual-basis accounting and expense recognition
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel, including experience building and maintaining financial models
- Power BI experience preferred
- CPA candidate or active pursuit of CPA licensure strongly preferred
- Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics
