Role OverviewYou'll build Fuse's accounting function in-house, bringing together external accounting support across multiple entities, making numbers reliable, and building systems as Fuse scales. This is a hands-on role, not just reviewing work. You'll be close to the work, with no team under you on day one.
What You Will Do
Core responsibilities include monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and close, managing external accounting firms, AP and AR, treasury and cash management, tax filings, audit prep, government contract accounting, internal controls, compliance, and building systems and processes.

Requirements
- 6+ years of accounting experience, including time in Big 4 public accounting and a high-growth startup
- CPA, or actively working toward one
- Meaningful exposure across accounting responsibilities
- High attention to detail
- Ability to keep the bigger picture in view
- Strong judgment on what to systematize now versus what can stay scrappy
- Hands-on work, with no team under you on day one
