Job Description
The Senior Accounting Specialist role will maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial statements, and handle payroll processing. They will also coordinate accounts payable and receivable, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and ensure tax compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred or Associate’s Degree with requisite experience
  • Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks
  • Experience with full-charge accounting, or strong experience with a combination of duties including data entry of day-to-day accounting transactions
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent written, verbal and follow-through skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Takes initiative and works independently on routine as well as complex matters
