Role OverviewThe Senior Acquisition Specialist will lead a field acquisition team and work closely with the Project Manager to establish priorities, oversee agent performance, and resolve difficult negotiations. This person will also personally handle complex or sensitive landowner negotiations.
What You Will Do
Provide daily direction and technical support to assigned ROW acquisition specialists, maintain an active portfolio of complex or high-priority acquisition files, and negotiate permanent and temporary easements, access rights, workspace, and related property interests.

Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of right of way, land acquisition, real estate or comparable infrastructure experience
- Significant direct landowner negotiation experience
- Experience acquiring easements for pipeline, electric transmission or other linear infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated ability to independently resolve difficult acquisition matters
- Strong knowledge of easement documents, title information, appraisal concepts, damages, and property rights
- Ability to lead and coach other acquisition professionals
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout an assigned Minnesota territory
