Role OverviewThe Senior Admissions Counselor is a key member of the College of Adult Undergraduate Studies and Graduate Studies (CAUS/GRAD) admission team, responsible for providing strategic leadership in recruitment and enrollment efforts. S/he will serve as a representative of Notre Dame of Maryland University, promoting the institution's mission, values, and academic programs to prospective students and external partners.
What You Will Do
Foster, build, and maintain strong professional relationships with prospective students. Strategically utilize resources to guide students through the enrollment funnel, from initial inquiry to successful deposit, and ultimately drive enrollment growth. Evaluate applications, transcripts, and other admission materials to determine admission eligibility.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as with a team toward institutional goals. Priority will be given to candidates with two or more years of experience in higher education admissions, marketing or sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited University/College, Master's degree is preferred
- Familiarity with principles of marketing and/or sales is desired, whether through direct experience or coursework
- Two or more years of experience in higher education admissions, marketing or sales
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Computer and database literate
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team toward institutional goals
- Good driving record and valid driver's license
- Positive attitude and temperament
