Job Description
Join the Maryland Department of Human Services as a Senior AI Development Lead to oversee the full lifecycle of AI development from initial ideation to deployment, ensuring alignment with departmental goals, ethical standards, and State policy. This role leads the development of AI tools and Generative AI solutions, monitors and maintains the agency's established AI governance framework, and directs and oversees AI Initiatives, systems training, and programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Two years of experience in leading and managing the full end-to-end lifecycle of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning Operations (MLOPs) projects
  • One year of experience managing AI Strategy budget
  • One year of experience managing complex stakeholder interfaces across federal and state lines
  • One year experience acting as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) to executive leadership- Chief Information Officer (CIO) Chief Portfolio Officer CPO
  • One year experience State Case Management System such as Child Support Management System (CSMS) and Child Juvenile and Adult Management System (CJAMS)
