Job Description
The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Alarms Design Specialist to join the team in Seal Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will be able to work within a complex and fast-paced environment designing, installing and maintaining physical security intrusion detection and alarm systems.

Requirements

  • Intake and process security system design requirements from customer programs
  • Utilize AutoCAD to design security systems to meet customer requirements
  • Incorporate feedback and updates into final AutoCAD designs and issue copies to customers and for data entry into MASterMind and other systems
  • Monitor completion of monthly Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) completed by the alarm service team
  • Respond to service calls and assign tasks to the alarm service team
  • Support projects that may require design, material orders, project oversight, and work orders released to the alarm service team
  • Maintain soft and hard copies of alarm configuration drawings and design files
  • Monitor status of multiple complex projects
  • Coordinate with Boeing focals and subcontracted suppliers in support of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Classified Access Management Systems (CAMS)
