Role OverviewSupport the Asset Management team in operating and maximizing value in a nationwide retail property portfolio. Assist in Annual Operating budgets, quarterly production of in-place net operating income, and property financial metrics. Prepare investor-ready asset templates and ensure analysis/work product is accurate, thorough, and neat.
What You Will Do
Support Asset Managers in managing an assigned property portfolio, assist in market studies, lease research, and tenant research, project net operating income, debt, and cash flows, and review and approve annual tenant CAM, insurance, and tax reconciliation files.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in commercial real estate asset management or equivalent experience in the retail asset class, proficiency in advanced Excel and Argus modeling, and the ability to assess changing conditions and make recommendations with supporting analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in business administration, real estate, or a related field, with a specialization in finance or accounting, or another related field
- Three years (36 months) experience in commercial real estate asset management or equivalent experience in the retail asset class
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and Argus modeling of financials and in presenting data-based analyses to management
- Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini) to enhance personal productivity, streamline research, and assist with content creation or workflow automation highly preferred
