Role Overview

The Energy & Infrastructure team at Liberty Mutual Investments is seeking a Senior Analyst/Associate to contribute to the investment process across thematic research, underwriting, deal execution, and ongoing portfolio management. The individual will be centrally involved in the execution of direct/co-investment transactions and primary fund commitments. The team invests in opportunities across the infrastructure landscape, including traditional energy, digital infrastructure, diversified infrastructure, renewables, energy transition, and services and software into the infrastructure ecosystem.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include contributing to investment diligence, screening opportunities, creating investment committee materials, presenting investment recommendations, evaluating and structuring economic and legal terms, monitoring existing investments, and engaging with external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate transaction risks, value-creation opportunities, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and capable of producing consistent work product
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and creative with the ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external investment professionals and executives
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and time-sensitive deliverables with a high degree of quality and accuracy
  • Strong interest in energy and infrastructure with a passion for investing
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrates strong AI literacy and uses AI-enabled tools to enhance speed, accuracy, and insight generation while maintaining sound judgment and compliance with governance standards
