Role Overview

As a key early hire in the Sourcing Analytics function, the Senior Analyst will establish the foundational data infrastructure that will drive sourcing prioritization and operating model capabilities across all sites and business units. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building data structures from the ground up and engaging stakeholders at all levels to drive results under deadline.

What You Will Do

Develop and maintain spend cube and category analytics, conduct supplier concentration and fragmentation analysis, analyze cross-fleet supplier overlap to identify consolidation opportunities, and provide ongoing supplier performance analytics. Build and maintain dashboards providing real-time visibility into sourcing and procurement KPIs, develop self-service analytics capabilities for category managers, and provide ad hoc analytical support for sourcing events, negotiations, and leadership requests.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, and three to six years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, data/spend/finance analytics, or related fields. Prior experience in the energy or utility sector is strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • Three to six years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, data/spend/finance analytics, or related fields
  • Advanced proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience developing spend analytics, supplier analytics, category taxonomies, and/or spend cube methodologies
  • Ability to work with large data extracts and structure them into usable sourcing views
  • High proficiency in Excel and/or SQL
  • Ability to translate large datasets into actionable insights
  • Identify supplier concentration, price variance, fragmentation, inventory standardization, supplier consolidation, and savings opportunities
  • Support business cases, savings baselines, and sourcing-wave prioritization
  • Experience extracting, cleansing, reconciling, and analyzing data from ERP, procurement, inventory, and CMMS platforms (Workday, Maximo, SAP, Coupa, or similar)
