Role OverviewThe Sr. Application Developer Associate, Insurance Platform supports auto insurance products and platforms through SQL and PL/SQL development, analysis, documentation, testing support, and production issue resolution within an agile delivery model. The role works with business and technical teams to maintain and improve data processes related to policy administration, underwriting, claims, cancellations, and reporting.
What You Will Do
Write, review, optimize and maintain complex SQL, PL/SQL code supporting insurance contract administration, cancellations, claims and reporting; analyze existing code, data flows, and business logic to identify defects, improvement opportunities, and performance bottlenecks; troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and escalate complex or recurring issues as appropriate.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
- Relevant certifications preferred, but not required, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) – SQL/PL-SQL, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification, ITIL Foundation certification
