Job Description
The Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) is seeking a dynamic individual to join their DevOps team as a Senior Application Developer. The role involves designing, building, modernizing, and maintaining essential NYC internal and external web applications. The Senior Application Developer will play a key role in ensuring the continued success and modernization of these applications.

Requirements

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications
  • Develop and maintain Web applications, RESTful services, and microservices using Spring Boot
  • Containerize, deploy, and manage applications in cloud environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Ensure adherence to NYC security and compliance standards
  • Lead code and design reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers
