Job Description
The Senior Solutions Architect — Insider Risk role at Mimecast involves shaping problems with product partners, owning integration contracts, building architectural context, and coordinating across teams and organizations. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of architecture experience at scale, cloud-native depth, contract-first integration thinking, and AI-First working style. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder navigation, and self-direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of professional software engineering and architecture experience, with at least 2 years in a Solutions Architect, Principal Engineer, Tech Lead, Product Architect, Staff Engineer, or similar role with significant product-shaping responsibility.
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS (ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, IAM, VPC), Kafka, and the ability to reason about distributed systems at high volume.
