Role OverviewHDR is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Higher Education, Science, and Sport Architecture Practice in Atlanta. The successful candidate will contribute to projects that are vital to communities, spanning a variety of facility types including academic buildings, research and laboratory environments, student life and recreation facilities, and athletic and performance venues. The role involves collaborating closely with multidisciplinary design teams, clients, and contractors across the United States to create facilities that address climate and resource challenges, deliver sustainable solutions, and enhance quality of life in the communities we serve.
What You Will Do
The Senior Project Manager will direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle, take responsibility for all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity, and establish and maintain client relations.

Requirements
- PMP certification
- 5 years' experience of working on higher education, science/research, academic, or athletic facilities architecture projects
- LEED Accreditation with experience and/or interest in sustainable and regenerative design practices
- Familiarity with wellness and design excellence frameworks
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- 10 years related experience
- A minimum 5 years project management experience
- Registered Architect
- Must be able to lead a team on projects
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
- Knowledge and experience within the local and regional market
- Good planning and mentoring skills
