Join Amgen’s Mission of Serving Patients as a Senior Associate IS Security Engineer. The role supports Incident Response Operations and ensures continuity of 24/7 security services. Responsibilities include revising and developing processes to strengthen Security Operations and Incident Response, and collaborating with other Information Security teams to address security risks. May Telecommute.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, thesis, or one year of experience in basic security principles and concepts related to information systems
  • risk assessments and security plans creation
  • Security risk Management Methodologies to create policies and procedures to manage security risks
  • Windows Security, Reverse engineering and binary analysis
  • Viruses, worms, malware and malicious code
  • Botnets and Language security
  • Analyzing and evaluating proposed and existing information security policies, practices and procedures in order to assess potential liabilities
