Role OverviewWe are seeking a senior meta-model engineer to own and evolve our Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) meta-model, system integration, and workflows. This role partners closely with Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) to coordinate catalog/operating-model changes impacting the PGS Unified Data Hub (UDH) and adjacent platforms, and represents Data & AI Platforms (DAIP) on PGS-facing projects and forums.
What You Will Do
Manage time effectively to meet targets and develop plans for short-term work activities on moderately complex projects. Operate under general supervision, following established procedures and instructions, and solve loosely defined problems.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Collaborate with Information Technology partners to set up development, test, and production environments. Conduct risk analysis and impact assessments for solutions that integrate with other Pfizer systems. Design and implement application software configurations and systems design for commercial off-the-shelf software products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a master's degree with more than 0+ years of experience; OR an associate's degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in data governance, metadata engineering, and/or data modeling.
- Strong workflow automation skills (BPMN; scripting such as Groovy/Java/Python) and Collibra REST API integration patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate change across business and platform teams (impact/risk assessment, deployment plans, controls).
- Excellent stakeholder management; comfortable representing platform positions with PGS product, architecture, and governance forums.
