Role OverviewAs Scout's Senior Associate, Project Finance, you will leverage your experience in financial analysis of renewable energy and/or power sector projects to inform strategic decisions for Scout's business. You will provide key support for project finance, corporate finance, capital recycling transactions, and PPA negotiations.
What You Will Do
Develop and maintain fully structured financial models with recent project and corporate assumptions. Advance projects across the investment lifecycle – from financing origination to execution and ad hoc support during commercial operations.

Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience with project finance models in finance, consulting, and/or the renewable energy industry, including modeling tax equity and debt structures.
- Experience in closing renewables capital markets transactions (tax equity, project debt, corporate debt) preferred.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (including VBA), Word, and PowerPoint.
- Adaptable, independent learner.
- Self-motivated with exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver top-quality work product in multiple areas without direct supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Experience using influence rather than authority to achieve desired outcomes.
