Role Overview

As a key member of an interdisciplinary team, you'll help drive real outcomes in the Army's largest human performance optimization initiative, the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program. You'll work collaboratively with a diverse team to deliver prevention-focused care, acute injury management, and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries. You'll engage in performance optimization strategies that address the five H2F readiness domains: physical, mental, nutritional, sleep, and spiritual.

Engage in performance optimization strategies that address the five H2F readiness domains: physical, mental, nutritional, sleep, and spiritual. Support unit leaders with evidence-based strategies to reduce injuries, promote recovery, and enhance overall unit readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE)
  • Passing score from the BOC for the Athletic Trainer
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI)
  • Unrestricted state license/registration/certification in any of the 49 regulated states, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the US Virgin Islands
  • Two years of relevant Athletic Training work experience within the last three years
  • Experience working with active populations (e.g. military, high school, collegiate, professional sports, performing arts, occupational health)
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • Current physical and immunizations
