Role OverviewAs a Senior Auto Body Technician at Crash Champions, you will be responsible for examining damaged vehicles, planning repair processes, and performing quality repairs while maintaining on-time status. You will work with others to communicate vehicle repair status and make decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time. You will also participate in safety meetings and direct the work of an apprentice when needed.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include examining damaged vehicles, working with others to communicate vehicle repair status, performing quality repairs, making decisions on repair vs. replace, removing upholstery and other equipment to gain access to vehicles, and filing, grinding, and sanding repaired surfaces. You will also direct the work of an apprentice and explain procedures to them.
