Job Description
Réalta Technologies are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to support a leading Medical Device manufacturing client based in Raynham, MA. The successful candidate will bring 6–7+ years of hands-on automation engineering experience, with a strong technical background in Siemens PLC programming and configuration using TIA Portal within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • 6–7+ years' experience in an Automation / Controls Engineering role within a manufacturing environment (Medical Device or Pharma preferred)
  • Strong hands-on experience programming Siemens PLCs using TIA Portal
  • Experience working with Siemens S7 controllers (S7-1200 / S7-1500)
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP
  • Experience supporting automated manufacturing or packaging equipment in a regulated production setting
  • Exposure to MES integration and/or industrial historians (e.g. PI System) highly desirable
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
  • Experience supporting commissioning and equipment validation activities
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within Manufacturing, Validation and IT teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
