Role OverviewIn this role, you will administer leave of absences, ensure compliance with leave laws, process payments, and answer benefit-related questions. You will also mentor and educate benefit team members, develop presentations, and act as a liaison between insurance carriers and employees. You will be involved in administering Canada benefit programs, the Open Enrollment Process, and Paid Time Away programs globally.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include administering leave of absences, processing payments, tracking FMLA usage, answering benefit-related questions, mentoring benefit team members, and developing presentations. You will also be involved in conducting audits with insurance carriers, assisting in administering Canada benefit programs, and processing life insurance claims.

Requirements
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business or closely related field
- A minimum of 5 years of related benefits experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn and utilize company information management systems
- Project and team management/leadership skills and experience
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates
- Capability of effective planning and priority setting
- Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs
- Ability to understand, evaluate and judge proposals relating to benefit programs and knowledge of benefits contract language
- Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including ERISA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, COBRA, and Social Security and DOL requirements
