Role OverviewThe Senior Billing Analyst is a key resource for the client's billing team, responsible for all aspects of client billing, including bill preparation, research and analysis, troubleshooting, problem resolution, reporting, and special assignments. The position involves creating budget projections for clients, assisting in collections, interpreting and communicating client billing guidelines, and coordinating special billing arrangements.
What You Will Do
Perform work editing, preparing or processing legal invoices and prebills/proformas according to established procedures and guidelines; submit and manage rejections of electronic invoices in designated client system; assist customers with billing/e-billing inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and follow-up with operational areas on the client side.

Requirements
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred with concentration in Business, Accounting, or Finance
- Minimum four years of billing experience in a law-firm or professional organization required
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work outside of established business hours and adjust personal schedule to meet deadlines
- Experience working with client Document Management Systems (DMS)
- Experience with Aderant or Elite/Elite 3E and/or business intelligence products strongly preferred
