Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced BIM Modeler / Electrical Detailer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial electrical construction projects. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed BIM models, coordination drawings, and installation documents that improve constructability, streamline prefabrication, and support successful field installation.
What You Will Do
Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for commercial electrical construction projects, produce electrical shop drawings, installation layouts, coordination drawings, and prefabrication packages, model conduit systems, electrical equipment, cable trays, supports, sleeves, and related components, perform clash detection and coordinate electrical systems with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural trades.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a BIM Modeler, Electrical Detailer, VDC Designer, or similar role
- Commercial electrical construction experience is required
- Proven experience modeling commercial electrical systems for construction projects
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, conduit routing, equipment layouts, and installation practices
- Experience with BIM coordination, clash detection, and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality construction drawings
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
