Job Description
Missions, Concepts, and Capabilities (MCC) Division of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a Senior Biologist to join a multi-disciplinary team researching laser biological effects and laser eye protection solutions.

Requirements

  • Lead and support laser exposure experiments on animal tissue
  • Support the development of laser effect campaigns
  • Prepare biological samples for histology, microscopy, and quantitative analysis
  • Operate and maintain microscopy systems
  • Collect, organize, and analyze biological data
  • Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records
  • Assist with the development of standard operating procedures
  • Train and mentor junior staff
  • Ensure compliance with Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) protocols
