Job Description
AECOM is seeking a candidate for the position of Senior Bridge Design Project Engineer V in the growing Transportation Engineering Group in Kansas City, MO. The role involves coordinating and providing technical expertise for mid-large-size projects, with a strong emphasis on railway bridge design and deliveries.

Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Ability to pass MVR check.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 10 + years' experience in bridge design, Extensive project design experience with railway system bridges and related structures, Project management skills, Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including technical report writing.
  • Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools, software), Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable Codes, Knowledge of current structural modeling software tools, A current PE license.
