Role OverviewAs a Senior Bridge Engineer at HDR, you will lead technical roles on bridge design projects, perform complex structural planning, analysis, and design, and work on projects that include bridge, box culvert, walls, and interchange design for highway projects.
What You Will Do
You will select standard bridge engineering/design procedures, develop structural details using specialized software, perform structural load calculations, and assist with geometric layout and quantity development. You will also review, assign work, and check design calculations, estimates, and specifications produced by junior engineers and EITs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 10 years bridge design experience
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
- Proven hands-on experience in all aspects of bridge design projects
- Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu and engineering software packages
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, MicroStation, AutoCAD, MathCAD, LARSA, Prestress Concrete Design
- Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills, and ability to work with various teams
- Project management skills desirable
