Role OverviewAs a Senior Bridge Engineer at HDR, you will lead technical roles on bridge design projects, serve as a technical specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects, and supervise junior engineers. You will perform complex structural planning, analysis, and design for transportation projects, develop design options, and assist in planning and management of bridge inspection, design, and rehabilitation projects.

- NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges OR Bridge Inspection Refresher certification
- NHI Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges OR Bridge Inspection Techniques for NSTM certification
- FHWA/NHI Tunnel Safety Inspection certification
- Excellent organization skills
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR)
- Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
- Able to traverse a construction job site
- Able to wear required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working
