Role OverviewJoin GPI's Albany, NY team as a Senior Bridge Engineer to support the delivery of high-quality structural solutions. You will work on complex projects, including new designs, rehabilitations, and repairs involving bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and dams.
What You Will Do
Perform structural analysis and design, prepare design calculations, and conduct load ratings, structural evaluations, and feasibility studies.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Minimum, with structural emphasis preferred)
- EIT certification required; PE license preferred
- 4+ years of bridge design experience (more for senior roles)
- Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., LARSA, STAAD, SAP2000, AASHTOWare BrR) preferred
- Working knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
- Experience with NYSDOT and Locally Administered Federal-Aid projects preferred
- Strong communication, technical writing, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
