Role OverviewAs a Senior Building Mechanical Engineer at HDR, you will lead the work of the mechanical design team, write and edit mechanical specifications, and review mechanical documents. You will work on complex design challenges, optimize energy efficiency, and integrate resilient systems. Your contributions will help define the future of the built environment.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading project phases, writing mechanical specifications, reviewing documents, and performing psychrometric calculations. You will also develop sections and elevations, coordinate with controls engineers, and visit project sites.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of 10 years in mechanical system design of commercial or institutional buildings
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD
- Demonstrated leadership skills, previous team coordination and project management experience
