Role OverviewSupports Business Development activities through identification, scientific evaluation, and analysis of potential licensing opportunities and partnerships in the biopharmaceutical space. Conducts comprehensive search and evaluation activities and generates competitive landscapes focused on identifying promising therapeutic assets and technologies to expand the company's pipeline.
What You Will Do
Performs detailed scientific assessment of opportunities, including analysis of mechanism of action, preclinical/clinical data, and therapeutic/market potential. Maintains deep scientific understanding of current and future trends in therapeutic innovations, with particular focus on emerging technologies and treatment modalities.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Demonstrated knowledge of search and evaluation with preclinical and clinical stage assets and platforms in Neurology/Immunology/Endocrinology/Psychiatry across therapeutic modalities including, but not limited to, small molecules, antibodies, peptides, oligonucleotides, gene therapy.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in life sciences, finance, business or similar field
- 8+ years of business development, venture capital, investment research, investment banking, corporate development or related experience
- Demonated knowledge of search and evaluation with preclinical and clinical stage assets and platforms in Neurology/Immunology/Endocrinology/Psychiatry
- Strong scientific acumen to identify key differentiation factors of potential partner programs/platforms and ability to take meticulous notes
- Strong understanding of biotechnology/pharmaceutical competitive landscape
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects/programs, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
Benefits
- Annual base salary $158,100.00-$216,000.00
- Annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary
