Job Description
Role Overview

Develops and executes business initiatives that grow revenue, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. Acts as an internal consultant and works projects across CITGO in Refining, Supply & Marketing, Trading, Terminals & Pipelines, and Specialty Products.

What You Will Do

Build relationships with third parties, research markets and regulatory issues, build financial models and conduct sensitivity analysis, analyze and negotiate contracts, spearhead the evaluation of new technologies and commercial growth opportunities, collaborate with business development and project planning personnel, value companies, businesses, and assets, manage engagements with outside consultants, manage cross-functional processes, communicate with senior executive team and facilitate decision making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • -8 years experience
  • Refining economics experience
  • Proficiency across a majority of the following competencies: Refinery processes and businesses, New business development, Identification of business drivers and enablers, Market research, Financial modeling, Business valuation, Executive-level communication, Project and team management
