Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Cisco Network Engineer to support the agency's network operation, security, maintenance, and collaboration with other departments and external organizations. The role is 100% remote, but requires the individual to live in Texas. The network engineer will monitor circuits daily, respond to remote site circuit outages, and configure and monitor core to remote network equipment.

The network engineer will be responsible for supporting the agency's network operation, security, maintenance, and collaboration with other departments and external organizations. This includes responding to remote site circuit outages, router/switch/firewall issues, and configuring and monitoring core to remote network equipment.

- 8 years of experience supporting large enterprise network operations
- 8 years of experience implementing, upgrading, and maintaining products from the CISCO suite of tools
- 8 years of experience planning, designing, and implementing local and wide area networks
- 8 years of experience monitoring network infrastructure
- 8 years of experience performing ongoing maintenance and problem resolution
- Use of SecureCRT, Cisco Command Line Interface, and OSI
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to take on projects and work independently meeting all deadlines
