Role Overview

Join our Macomb County office as a Senior Civil Engineer to support local communities with projects that improve quality of life for residents of southeast Michigan. You will work independently on various engineering projects for municipal clients while assisting architects, developers, and residents. Work in a team environment led by a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager on a variety of tasks.

What You Will Do

Typical responsibilities include site plan layout, geometric design, grading, pavement design, soil erosion and sediment control, utility design, stormwater management, traffic plans, details, record drawings, permit applications, cost estimates, meetings, field visits, construction administration, and more.

Requirements

  • engineering degree from an ABET accredited university or equivalent amount of applicable experience
  • at least 5 years of Civil Engineering experience
  • experience in AutoCAD software
  • PE licensure in Michigan (or seeking to obtain)
  • experience in Civil3D
  • experience with green infrastructure design and stormwater modeling in SWMM
