Role Overview

As a Senior Civil Project Manager, you will lead civil design tasks and projects, working independently and as part of a team. You will have well-rounded experience in civil engineering design, including transit/transportation, hydrology and hydraulics, and developing PS&E for civil projects. What You Will Do

You will lead a major project team or several moderate-sized project teams, oversee and analyze financial performance, actively engage in project reviews to ensure quality and alignment with goals, and manage multiple projects at once. You will also have the opportunity to develop and lead design teams, mentor junior engineers, and engage in life-long learning to maintain knowledge of contemporary issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program
  • 15 years (min.) experience in general civil engineering design
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to manage budget, schedule, resources, client needs, and perform design work as necessary to meet project needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Client relations
  • Experience in proposal writing
  • Experience in business development and marketing business services
  • Proficient with electronic communications including e-mail and text as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Skills in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues
