Role OverviewThe Senior Claims Consultant is responsible for managing a caseload of management liability and professional liability claims of moderate complexity and severity. This role requires a strategic, detail-oriented professional who can resolve claims efficiently and in accordance with company best practices and authority guidelines.
What You Will Do
Analyze liability and damages, evaluate complex coverage issues, investigate, negotiate, and resolve claims, appoint and manage outside counsel, make sound decisions, oversee litigation management, maintain accurate documentation, deliver outstanding service, and support underwriting.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in management liability claims handling or litigation, with direct experience with Employment Practices Liability (EPL) essential. Strong knowledge of insurance claims processes and the legal/regulatory environment is required.
