Job Description
This position works under direction of the Accountant and Business Manager to support a variety of front desk operations within the Taylor County Health Department (CHD). Duties include but are not limited to assisting customers, clerical and computer input, answering telephone, operating office equipment, collecting mail and shipments, collecting paperwork, eligibility determination, billing and payment processing.

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
  • Ability to demonstrate a willingness to assist others with problem solving
  • Ability to multitask a variety of duties
  • Knowledge and ability to maintain 100% client confidentiality
  • Knowledge of billing and insurance verification processes
  • Knowledge of eligibility determinations
