Role OverviewThis position is a frontline administrative support role responsible for assisting clients, managing information flow, and supporting operational functions within the Health Department. The role contributes to efficient service delivery by performing client intake activities, processing payments, maintaining accurate records, coordinating appointments across multiple programs, and providing backup support for vital records.
What You Will Do
The Senior Clerk will greet and assist clients, verify intake information, issue receipts for services, and provide general information and answers to client questions. They will also accept and record payments, maintain and secure the cash drawer, balance it daily, and enter billing information each day.
