Job Description
Role Overview

The clinician's job role is to assist clients in their transition out of addiction and into recovery by providing effective therapeutic interventions, salient educational skills and ample opportunities for meaningful client self-discovery.

What You Will Do

Assess and provide general and specific treatment to individuals with emotional, mental, or substance abuse difficulties.

Requirements

  • DPH Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LADC, LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LPCA)
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Five years of professional counseling experience; or a combination of a degree in a related field and professional experience
  • Evidence of knowledge of the dynamics of chemical dependency rehabilitation, resources available to the chemically dependent, and appreciate of the self-help groups
  • Alternating Saturday Availabililty
