Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer (AWS, Golang, MongoDB)

Requirements

• 5+ years of previous DevOps / SRE Engineering experience supporting production systems
• At least 3-5+ years of experience in executing data solutions using MongoDB
• Thorough understanding of MongoDB architecture and performance tuning capabilities
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration
• Knowledgeable in network configuration/troubleshooting load balancing, firewalls, VPN, etc
• Knowledgeable in supporting backend database technologies Mongo, MS-SQL, MYSQL
• Experience supporting Golang web-based solutions preferred
• Proficient with scripting infrastructure as code, including Cloud Formation and Terraform
• Proficient with current industry-leading development tools (IDE, Source control, build/CI, etc
• Experience in CICD automation and configuration software such as (Jenkins, Chef, Run Deck, and Ansible).
• Experience with using and managing Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, ability to be effective with minimal supervision
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in a Scrum-based environment
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements, business processes etc
