Role Overview

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of national security, providing advanced solutions to government intelligence agencies. As a Senior Cloud Information System Security Engineer, you will identify information protection needs, design security architectures, and develop cybersecurity-enabled products for use within an IS and Network Environment.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: identifying information protection needs, designing security architectures, developing cybersecurity-enabled products, integrating and/or implementing security with Cross Domain Solutions, developing and implementing security designs, and ensuring network system(s) designs support the incorporation of FBI directed cybersecurity vulnerability solutions.

Must have a current/active Top Secret security clearance and be willing and able to obtain SCI eligibility prior to start. Selected candidate must be willing to undergo a Polygraph. The projected compensation range for this position is $114,600.00-$190,200.00.

Requirements

  • Must meet one of the following levels of experience: A high school diploma/GED and 14 years’ experience, an Associate’s degree and 10 years’ experience, a Bachelors degree and 8 years’ experience, or a Master’s and 6 years’ experience.
  • Hold at least one of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (or Associate), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) CE, Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), CISSP- Information System Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP), Certified Information System Manager (CISM), or CISSP- Information System Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP).
  • Hold at least one of the following certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, (ISC)2 Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AZ-500: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Google - Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
  • Familiarity with the use and operation of security tools including: Tenable Nessus and/or Security Center, IBM Guardium, HP WeblInspect, Network Mapper (NMAP), and/or similar applications.
  • Working knowledge of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ATO processes.
